Usage of Mods from mod.io

Downloading and Activation

After successful registration and authentication in the MOD BROWSER section of the game, you become able to download and use mods from mod.io.

To download and use such a mod, you will need to do the following:

1. Subscribe to the mod, by clicking the Subscribe button. Particularly, you can subcribe to the mod:

   • In the MOD BROWSER of the game.

   • At the page of this mod at the site of the game withing mod.io:

     • For Expeditions, at https://mod.io/g/expeditions
     • For SnowRunner, at https://mod.io/g/snowrunner

     NOTE: However, if you want to subscribe to the mod at the mod.io web site, you will need to do it under the same mod.io account (same e-mail) that you have used during the activation of MOD BROWSER in the Main Menu. See Registration and Authentication for details.

2. Activate the mod that you have subscribed to, after it has been downloaded. Particularly, in the MOD BROWSER, select this mod and click Enable.

After doing this, the activated mod will appear in the game.

Disabling a Mod

To temporary disable the activated mod:

1. Select it in MOD BROWSER.

2. Click Disable.

Unsubscribing from a Mod

To unsubscribe from the mod (which will remove it from the system):

1. Select it in MOD BROWSER.

2. Click Unsubscribe.

Other Commands

Some additional operations with mods are also available after selecting More in the lower right corner of the MOD BROWSER window.

The list of these commands includes, for example:

• Select map – Opens the proving grounds map.

• Report Mod – Reports the mod as inappropriate (e.g. in case of offensive content).

• Enable all – Enables all mods that you are subscribed to.

• Disable all – Disables all activated mods.

• Clean All Up – Deletes all downloaded mods, reset the "Mods" folder, and re-download mods you are subscribed to.

• Log out – Logs out from your linked mod.io account.
